

J.K. Rowling is a British novelist, philanthropist, film producer, television producer and screenwriter, best known for writing the Harry Potter fantasy series, and the first billion-dollar author.
As of February 2018, the seven Harry Potter books have sold more than 500 million copies worldwide and are published in 55 languages, including Latin and Ancient Greek.
According to Forbes, Rowling has grossed over $1 billion (£627 million) for her novels and from related earnings.
